Ali MacGraw
Ali MacGraw also known by her stage name Elizabeth Alice MacGraw has been a model, actor as well as an animal rights activist in the United States. Ali MacGraw is known for her roles in films like Love Story, Goodbye Columbus and The Getaway. New York was her home and she was brought up in an artistic environment. At first she began as an photographer's assistant. Then her work changed to modeling and directing. She was noticed in two of her films and won the Golden Globe Award for Most promising Newcomer. MacGraw's 1970 movie Love Story was an international success, earning her the Academy Award nomination and Golden Globe Award. MacGraw was deemed the top female box-office star of the world after only three movies. In 1972, her footprints and autograph were engraved on the wall of Grauman's Chinese Theater. She was a part of several other movies, including The Getaway Convoy Players and TV miniseries The Winds of War among others. Moving Pictures is her autobiography which was published in the year 1991. MacGraw was married three times.
