Zoe-perry

Perry is the daughter of actor Laurie Metcalf, and Jeff Perry. The role of Jackie Harris was played by her mom in both of her two appearances on Roseanne. In fear of stress, her parents were not keen to let performing before she reached the age of age 18. Perry she was shy to be a part of the theater in her school, began performing in the theater at Northwestern University because she wanted to make new friends. Perry began her career with New York after graduation, getting small role on Law & Order: Criminal Intent. But homesickness made Perry return to California to work as a stage actress. In 2013, she was a part of The Other Place on Broadway alongside her mother. The show featured their father Kevin McKidd and Eugene O'Neill's Pulitzer Prize winning drama Anna Christie in 2015 on the Odyssey Theatre Ensemble, West Los Angeles. Perry starred in nine episodes of ABC's show The Family. Perry was also featured in a role on ABC's political thriller Scandal along with her father. She played the role of a younger Mary Cooper (Sheldon Cooper's mother) in Young Sheldon. This spin-off series that was part of the CBS show The Big Bang Theory was an additional portrayal that was younger of her mother. The role was offered to her by auditioning for an open role despite being a fan of the role.
