Tina and Amanda

Tina Louise, an American actor and writer, is best known for portraying Ginger Grant on the television show Gilligan's Island in 1960s. Her acting career began as a stage artist during the 1950s beginning with Two's Company a musical by Bettle Davis. In the following years, she appeared in many Broadway productions before making it big on the national theatre area with Li'l abner's in the year 1957. Her first album, titled It's Time to Tina that same year. Louise first made it to Hollywood as Griselda Walden on God's Small Acre, a drama from 1957. This film became an enormous success and Louise even won the Golden Globe Award at the New Star of the Award category. While in New York, Louise enrolled at Actors Studio and began her relationships with Lee Strasberg. In 1964, she signed to CBS and played Ginger Grant. Louise continued to juggle her work successfully in between Broadway TV and Hollywood acting in somber roles against her perceived image of a glamour doll. Amanda Tapping..........................Amanda Tapping is best known for her acting roles as Samantha Carter in the series Stargate. The SG-1 series and Sanctuary but she also made a mark as an effective television director in various series like Supernatural & The 100. She was born on August 28, 1965, in Essex. As a young girl, three, her family relocated her to Toronto which is where she spent the majority of her childhood. Her home was in Vancouver when she was chosen for the role of Samantha Carter.
