ndrea is an emerging LPGA Tour star, and her win debut in the Portland Classic 2022 was a memorable moment. Lee has won at every level, which includes her time at Standford University where she earned nine wins and stayed for 17 weeks at the top of the Women's Amateur of the World. In the Women's Amateur category, which had the top ranking at close of the season in 2019 Lee was awarded the Mark H. McCormack Memorial Medal. Lee made the switch to professional that same year. Andrea Lee, a former amateur golf star is making her mark on the professional scene. There are a few things that you might not know of regarding the American LPGA Tour player. Andrea Lee was a Los Angeles born child on August 15 the 15th of August, 1998. James taught her to play golf from the time she was five years old. Within four years, she won 50 junior titles. The 2014 US Women's Open was her first major cut. She was 15 years old and her father acted as her caddie. Lee was unable to make cut at the LPGA Tour cut at the 2015 ANA Inspiration by just one shot. Lee was a member of the USA at the Junior Ryder Cup Junior Solheim Cup Curtis Cup Women's World Amateur Team Championship and the Junior Ryder Cup. In 2016, she joined Stanford University and became its most decorated athlete at the time. Over the next three years, she won nine individual titles. Lee completed her degree in the year 2018, has left Stanford University for the professional world. Her amateur career comprised 17 weeks consecutively at the top the World Amateur Golf Ranking. Lee was also awarded with the 2019 Mark H. McCormack Medal after finishing the season with the highest ranking amateur. Lee had four hole-in-ones and one albatross while an amateur. In her first season she was a top-10 player with two finishings. She was a seventh-place finisher in the 2020 AIG Women's Open at Kingsbarns Golf Links. Lee took home her first LPGA Tour title at the 2022 Portland Classic. The winner devoted the win to her grandfather who passed away Min. "He has always considered me an champion and he always believed in me." She added, "I was so grateful for him. And I know that he's always looking over me." She has competed before in figure skating, soccer and Taekwondo. Lee has a wide range of interests outside of golf like shopping, watching movies, as well as singing.
